Yea! The weather was wonderful, the golf course was good and golfing was great.
Finally, we were able to play a tournament on Thursday. Let's hope there are many more good days like this in May.

When are we ever going to play golf????
A wet course prevented another day of golf. Carts were not allowed on the course and the threat of rain eliminated all but a few from trying to play a round. Next week??

Opening Social
Our opening social was held last night at the golf course. We welcomed six new ladies along with many returning members. It was fun catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. After a short business meeting we enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Now all that is needed is the weather's cooperation so we can start golfing!

Weekly Rule or Etiquette
Rule #20-2, DROPPING A GOLF BALL:You may stand inside or outside the designated drop area, but you need to stand erect, hold the ball at shoulder height (either directly in front of you or to the side), and arm's length and then drop the ball. If dropped in any other manner, and the error is not corrected before the ball is played, it's a one stroke penalty. You must not drop the ball closer to the hole.
